'Green News' Launch

Northmoor Academy is part of The Harmony Trust’s “Green News” launched in conjunction with children’s author.

Our green-minded Eco Team have been busy working with their peers across The Harmony Trust over the Spring term.  They have teamed up with the wonderful author Katherine Wheatley, (who writes eco-friendly children’s books) to create their very own “green” newspaper, Green News to help all Harmony Trust children to learn more about green issues and spread the word on how we can all work together to look after our planet.

You can read the first edition of Green News at the bottom of this page.

AH.jpgMr Hughes, CEO of The Harmony Trust says “I am so excited about this first edition of the Green News - it shows just how passionate our children and staff are about protecting the environment to safeguard all the benefits that the natural world brings for communities and the future.”

Katherine Wheatley says: “I am delighted to be working with The Harmony Trust to create and develop this paper which places Education KWheatley.jpg for Sustainability at the top of its agenda’ ‘Let’s make a difference together!”

Look out for Issue 2 in the autumn.
